Nursery Life

Our qualified chefs take pride in catering for the children and adapt menus according to the season to suit children’s likes and dislikes.

All our meals are made from fresh ingredients which are prepared on the nursery premises. Each individual's requirements are catered for through a healthy balanced menu. The practitioners encourage the children to eat well by sitting with them at meal times and sampling the foods with them. The children are provided with opportunities to help with the preparation of meals such as pizza, baking and sandwiches.

The following meals are provided to the children by Toybox:

• Breakfast is provided to our early starter children between 7.00am and 8.00am
• Snacks of fresh fruit and a drink is provided at 9.30am
• Lunch is eaten at 11.45am
• Tea is served at 3.15pm

Finally the children who are still with us at the end of the day will be offered a light snack and a drink.

Milk Feeds For Babies

We keep a supply of all the usual brands of baby milk. We make up feeds at the start of each day and feeding times reflect the routine that is followed at home. We'll also use our common sense and respond to each baby's demands when appropriate.

If you want your baby to be fed breast milk then please make sure that enough feeds are provided to us at the start of your baby's session.
